As one of the three major competition areas of the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Yanqing has always adhered to the principles of green, low-carbon and sustainable. At the beginning of the construction of the main venue in Yanqing, Vancen won the bid as the provider of complete sets of construction waste disposal equipment in Yanqing Competition Area with excellent and efficient solid waste resource disposal technology, and disposed construction waste resources into construction aggregates of different sizes, which were recycled in the infrastructure construction of the competition area.
There are 5 venues in Yanqing Competition Area, including 2 competition venues: National Alpine Skiing Centre and National Sliding Centre; 3 non-competition venues: Yanqing Olympic Village, Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-center, and Yanqing Medal Square for the Winter Paralympic Games. During the competition, the Yanqing competition area undertook the alpine skiing, bobsleigh, luge and alpine skiing events of the Winter Olympics, resulting in 21 Winter Olympic gold medals and 30 Winter Paralympic gold medals.

The construction decoration waste resource disposal project in Yanqing won the bid in May 2019, and Vancen provided crushing, screening and sorting complete sets of disposal equipment for the project, which processes 600,000 tons of construction waste per year. For this project, from the perspective of sustainable development strategy, the company's R & D team used the efficient subtraction process of first breaking and then screening, effectively improving the project design quality and aggregate purity, can be used for construction waste resource into three kinds of recycled aggregate with particle size of 0~10mm, 10mm~20mm, 20mm~31.5mm, the purity of aggregate is more than 98%, which can be used as recycled bricks for venue construction and recycled concrete for road subgrade construction, realizing a green cycle. In order to adhere to the green Olympic Games and lay a beautiful Chinese background.
The venue construction of low-carbon helps the country achieve carbon neutrality
Vancen is encouraged and feel a great responsibility to contribute to the construction of the venues of the Winter Olympics that have attracted worldwide attention. In the project design, according to the composition characteristics of construction waste in the Yanqing competition area, Vancen combined with Tongji University, the domestic top research institution in the field of resource recycling, carried out multi-party demonstration, field investigation, sampling analysis, and optimized and improved process technology according to the experience of many domestic projects, with reliable process and stable technology. At present, the project has been in stable operation for two years, disposed more than 1.5 million tons of construction waste and reducing carbon emissions by about 100,000 tons, helping to promote the early realization of China's dual carbon goals.
After the successful bid for the Winter Olympics, President Xi Jinping put forward the concept of "green, sharing, openness and integrity", and the concept of "green Olympic Games" ranked first among the four major Olympic concepts.
